I was referred to Mr Talawadekar by my GP as he said he had an incredibly good reputation. I found him to be an excellent consultant. He has a great personality and is easy to talk to, he listens to what you have to say and explains everything extremely well. He was very thorough when I saw him at my initial clinic appointment, this resulted in him performing left rotator cuff repair for me. Just a couple of weeks after surgery I saw him again for a follow up and he showed me photographs that he took of my shoulder when he performed the keyhole surgery. He explained to me exactly what these images were and what they meant. I will continue to see him going forward as he intends to repair my right shoulder soon. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Mr Talawadekar to anyone who requires his specialist skill.

I attended an appointment yesterday morning. I was accompanied to his Consulting Room by a very pleasant nurse. I was greeted by Mr Talawadekar with a handshake and a big smile. He inspected the progress of my operation which has healed and I now have full use of my Right Hand. Both he and I are well satisfied with the successful operation. He then discussed the operation required on my Left Hand and completed the form for my next procedure which will be carried out in a few months time. This was a very satisfactory appointment.

Gautam is friendly and warm with a lovely bedside manner. I was so concerned and worried about my carpal tunnel but he gave me so much reassurance and confidence and i felt special and that he cared. Usually when I see consultants I feel as though I am just a number and they can be a little arrogant but not so with Gautam. A gentleman doctor who is an asset to the medical profession. To be perfectly honest I doubt he could improve in any shape or form. If I was the King I would give him a knighthood.

My hand was so painful that I could not bear to shake hands with anyone and the pain kept me awake at night. After treatment from Mr Talawadekar, I can now sleep at night and am able to shake hands again. A very pleasant man easy to talk to and I would recommend him highly.
